Alfa Romeo Mito

Launched as a supermini in 2008 to rival MINI and Audi A1, Alfa Romeo announced 'MiTo' as the official name, a portmanteau of where it was produced; Milano (Milan) & Torino (Turin), designed in the former city and was assembled in the latter. The name is also a play on the Italian word 'mito', meaning 'myth' or 'legend'. Bwteen 2008 and 2018, several special editions were released including a GTA concept car. Alfa Romeo also took part in the European Hydrogen Test Program with tow MiTO FCEV's.
