Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Used Mercedes-Benz A-Class cars were first available in 1997. The W168 first generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class was known for its 'Sandwich' concept, a unique frontal-impact absorption safety design that offered extra protection to drivers and their passengers. In the early years of its release, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168 also offered electronic stability controls. The W168 model was replaced in 2004 with the W169 model. The W169 model is available as a 5-door mini MPV and a 3-door mini MPV. Mercedes-Benz A-Class sales were high upon the release of the W169 model, which has undergone several changes to its interior and exterior since it was introduced. The model was released in Europe in 2004 and the UK in 2005. In 2005, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class introduced the A200T model, which offered enhanced features and a slick, stylish exterior. After its release, the W169 also went through several changes, most notably to its safety features, which included head restraints and the addition of airbags. During 2008, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class cars became slimmer and several other changes to the exterior were also made. Several modifications were also made to the A-class range to make it more eco-friendly. In 2010, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class released the E-Cell, which is a compact, five-seater family car, and is part of the brand's 'BlueEfficiency' range. The E-Cell offers a wide range of features, including battery-powered electric drive, and continues the range's 'Sandwich' safety structure. The A-Class range has achieved much success, with the original W168 first generation model selling over 1.5 million units worldwide. The second generation offers drivers a more stylish design, and there is a wide range of nearly new and second-hand Mercedes-Benz A-Class deals available.
