The Porsche 911 has featured prominently on various 'top sports car' lists throughout its production history. It was named as the 'Top Sports Cars of the 1960s' and 'Top Sports Cars of the 1970s'by the magazine Sports Car International, as well as achieving fifth place in the international poll for 'Car of the Century'. The Porsche 911 is a sought after classic car, and the demand for used Porsche 911 models can sometimes be as high as for the newest range.
